Moynahan was selected as a Trustee for the Parker Ranch Foundation Trust in December 2007. He has served in a variety of executive positions for operating companies of C. Brewer & Co. Ltd. and currently serves both as Trustee of the A.L. Shelly Hawaii Trust and as an officer of its related operating companies.
His career has included more than 18 years with C. Brewer and Company Ltd, then the sixth largest private landowner in Hawaii, including more than ten years as the senior executive responsible for land management and real estate development in Hawaii, Maui and Kauai counties. Moynahan served for 7 years as President and Chief Executive Officer of C. Brewer Properties and C. Brewer Homes and led its initial public offering in 1993.
Moynahan is a graduate of Hawaii Preparatory Academy, received a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii.
His extensive involvement in community and professional organizations includes having served as a director of the Land Use Research Foundation of Hawaii, Hawaii Nature Center, Hawaii Resort Developers Conference, Neighborhood Justice Center, a governor of Hawaii Preparatory Academy and a member of the Community Development Council of the Urban Land Institute.
