Fujimoto was appointed Trustee to the Parker Ranch Foundation Trust in September 2017. For more than 20 years, he has been Chairman and CEO of HPM Building Supply, a trusted building supply company in Hawaii with eight locations on Hawaii Island, Oahu, and Kauai. Since 2006, HPM has been 100% employee owned through the company’s Employee Stock Ownership Program.
Fujimoto is a graduate of Hawaii Preparatory Academy in Waimea, and received his Bachelors of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Economics from the University of Massachusetts. He received his Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of California, Berkeley.
In addition to managing HPM, Fujimoto has had a long record of service to the community and serves on the Boards of North Hawaii Community Hospital, First Hawaiian Bank, Hawaii Preparatory Academy, and Parker Ranch, Inc. among other entities. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Hawaii Leeward Planning Conference, is Vice President of the New Moon Foundation, and President of the Kohala Institute.
