Kuyper said, “I am really looking forward to coming home to Hawai’i and leading Parker Ranch in its next chapter. I am honored to be able to assist in carrying out Richard Smart’s great legacy and vision and fulfilling the responsibility to the Trust’s beneficiaries and the community of Waimea. This is a dream come true for me and my family.”
Mr. Kuyper was born and raised on Oahu and returns to Hawai’i with his family after 20 years of increasingly senior executive positions on the mainland and in Asia. Mr. Kuyper served most recently as Chief Operating Officer with Capricorn Investment Group, previously holding the same position with Morgan Creek Capital Management, following extensive experience with Wellington Management, Boston Consulting Group and Coopers & Lybrand.
Mr. Kuyper graduated from Punahou School and received his undergraduate degree from Occidental College before attending the Tuck School at Dartmouth College to complete his graduate degree in business.
