Gibson was selected as a Parker Ranch Foundation Trust Trustee in December 2007. He is an attorney with the law firm Ashford & Wriston in Honolulu, where his practice focuses on real property and commercial litigation.
He has served in leadership positions with the Hawaii State Bar Association, Hawaii Lawyers Care, Legal Aid Society of Hawaii, and is a member of the West Hawaii Bar Association. He has been honored for his outstanding contribution in the delivery of Pro Bono legal services and listed among the best lawyers in Hawaii by Honolulu Magazine.
Gibson is a graduate of Iolani School in Honolulu and holds a bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin and a law degree from the University Of California Hastings College Of Law.
In addition to his position with Ashford & Wriston and his Trustee position with Parker Ranch Foundation Trust, he is a director for Hawaii Pacific Health. Gibson has represented numerous ranches over the course of his legal career. He currently serves as a director for Ponoholo Ranch.
